A reinterpretation of coiled metal adornments from South Ethiopia and South Sudan.
This bracelet pairs a solid gold or silver band with a wrapped coil in a contrasting metal. The design echoes traditional practices, where artisans wrap wires around rods or bangles to enhance structure, allow adjustability, or express visual rhythm using minimal means. The repeated, circular motif reflects a broader regional aesthetic—favoring clean lines, simple volumes, and forms that can be reshaped, reused, and adapted over time.
